Naval Historical Society of Australia
Preserving Australia's Naval History
In November, a number of us attended an exhibition entitled ‘Specialist Ships Made in Australia, How?’ and consequently we invited Leigh Webster of ‘Offshore and Specialist Ships Australia’ to speak to us on March 27.The exhibition was based on three shipping themes, ‘Offshore Oil and Gas’, our RAN and Antarctica. Our Navy has enjoyed a long history maintaining maritime security to critical offshore infrastructure in Bass Strait and the RAN Hydro-graphic Survey Ships provide a vital service to our nation. Want to know more?, join us at Waverley on the 27th.You are very welcome!
