Westport’s Managing Director, PATRICK SEARES will provide an update on the Westport Program. The briefing will include detail on Westport’s scope and objectives.
Patrick Seares was appointed as Westport’s Managing Director in February 2021. He leads a cross-government team planning one of Western Australia’s most complex infrastructure projects: a new port in Kwinana with the supporting logistics and associated integrated road and rail transport corridors.
Over the last decade Patrick has worked for numerous State Government agencies, including as the Executive Director Strategy and Engagement of the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation and the Director of Strategic Policy and Planning of the Office of the Environmental Protection Agency.
As the Chief Executive Officer of the Western Australian Marine Science Institute had the unique opportunity to manage the design and delivery of a $20 million marine science program and world leading dredging program.
Patrick has led significant business improvement projects during his career, advising on strategic governance, operational reform, stakeholder engagement, operational change, and marine research.
