- About HMAS Swan (l)
HMAS Swan was one of six River Class, Torpedo Boat Destroyers built for the RAN between 1909 and 1916. HMAS Swan was laid down at Cockatoo Island Dockyard. During WW 1 she formed part of the Australian Destroyer Flotilla with her sister ships were HMA Ships Huon, Parramatta, Torrens, Warrego and Yarra.
