Naval Historical Society of Australia
Preserving Australia's Naval History
Our AGM’s normally are not protracted events, and so after the formalities we have a bit of light hearted fun!
Members and guests are invited to bring their ‘Naval’ treasures to share with their friends. Each presentation only takes a few minutes, and often promotes much hilarity!
To finish of the evening, Tony Wilson has provided his IWM video ‘Royal Navy at War’ which consists of short Ministry of Information Films made during the early war years.
We will view the Commissioning of the battleship, HMS Howe, a ‘Flower’ Class Corvette on convoy duty and enjoy a conducted tour of the Cruiser HMS London whilst she was at Scapa Flow!
