The Naval Historical Society (WA Chapter) is hosting a talk by Commander Bob Mummery (RAN, Retired), and President of the Naval Officers’ Club (WA), at 1400 on Thursday 20th June 2019. The topic is “Provision of boats for sea training of Navy Cadets – design and local construction.”

“The sub-title for the talk is: “Navy Cadets, The Old Fellows Give A Helping Hand”
My talk will provide a very broad but short overview of the Navy Cadets history in WA and then focus in on how the Naval Cadets Association Inc provided assistance to WA Units with an in depth view of how the most recent undertaking, the provision of “Pulling (aka ‘row boats’) Boats” to the Cadet Units.”
The venue is Lisle Lodge, 57 Lisle Street, Mount Claremont. Cost is $5, to cover refreshments.
