Here are the details of the 15th July 2024 NHS meeting at 6pm at the Claremont Tennis Club.
THE TOPIC: HIS LEADERSHIP JOURNEY IN THE ROYAL AUSTRALIAN NAVY AND PREPARING HMAS STIRLING FOR THE FUTURE.
THE SPEAKER: CAPTAIN KEN BURLEIGH RAN, COMMANDING OFFICER HMAS STIRLING
Captain Ken Burleigh is a Principal Warfare Officer and Navigation specialist in the Royal Australian Navy and has held sea and shore command. Ken joined the Navy from his home town of Perth in 1984 and following Major Fleet Unit command, had a break in service to work in the commercial sector as a Marine Pilot in Broome and Dampier. Ken returned to the Navy in 2019 and assumed command of HMAS Stirling on May 19th, 2023.
The talk is on Monday July 15th at 6:00pm at the Claremont Lawn Tennis Club, Shenton Road, Claremont. Parking is at the Tennis Club and in the public car park on Davies Road.
