Rose Bay Naval History Walk

$20.00

Explore naval history in Rose Bay over a 2-hour guided walk.

The Rose Bay area has a significant link to Australia’s naval history from 1912-1927. The recruit training ship HMAS Tingira was moored in Rose Bay from 1912-1927.

In early June 1942 Rose Bay & some surrounding suburbs were shelled by a Japanese I -class submarine which in the previous week was part of the Japanese Naval force that launched midget subs to attack Sydney Harbour.

For groups of up to 20 people we can schedule a dedicated walk for you.
