HMAS Napier (l)
HMAS Napier was one of eight N Class destroyers laid down in British yards during 1939 to the order of the Royal Navy. Five (Napier, Nestor, Nepal, Nizam and Norman) were transferred to the Royal Australian Navy. Napier carried out a variety of activities during the war such as convoy protection duty, evacuation of people from Crete and carrying of troops.

On October 1945 Napier reverted to the Royal Navy, ending five years’ service with the Royal Australia Navy.
