The 21st Minesweeping Flotilla consisting of HMA ships Ballarat, Bathurst, Burnie, Maryborough, Cairns, Fremantle, Bendigo, Toowoomba and Goulburn left Hong Kong after sweeping in Chinese waters and proceeded to Australia.
