Sub-Lieutenants Bob Kyle and M Perrott piloted their Huey helicopter through intense enemy fire to reach the crew of a downed helicopter in Vinh Long Province South Vietnam. The downed crew was rescued and the pilots were awarded the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Bronze Star for their actions.
