This is a comprehensive account of the concept, construction and administration of the communications station at North West Cape up to 2006. Apart from technical communications aspects, it covers the problems to be overcome, including the political background, building difficulties and life at Exmouth. It is an interesting social history which is very well produced and illustrated.
