He was thus, one of those rare and gifted individuals who by their touch alter others and whose attitudes and gifts survive in others. This is our legacy.
I trust this continuity is a comfort to Anstey’s loving and supportive family to whom he was so devoted and of whom he was so proud.
He let his light shine before us and we saw his good works.
An even more important influence that survives him is in the example of his capacity to translate his Christian beliefs into day to day living. Those of us who witnessed as he walked in the valley of the shadow of death know he feared no evil.
He died as he lived in faith.
Delivered on 12th April, 1991 at St. Stephens Church, Chatswood, N.S.W.
