The 2nd class cruiser HMS CAMBRIAN was built at Pembroke Dock, England in 1893. She served on the Australia Station from 1903 and shared her time in Australia and New Zealand. During World War I she was a base ship renamed HARLECH in 1916 and VIVID in 1921. She was sold out of service and broken up by Young’s of Sutherland in 1923.
