Many relics are held by the Naval Reserve Cadets. For instance, TS Gayundah in Brisbane holds the old gunboat’s bell, whilst TS ANZAC in Western Australia holds two 12 pounder 8 cwt field guns that were in use with the Naval Reserves in Western Australia in the 1920s, and for many years after.
These are only a very minute part of the collection of naval relics around Australia, and from time to time we will publish more photos on this very absorbing subject.
